Founder, Wellness Evolved Counselling


Mike Mathers, MSc, MA, RCC, is an addiction and trauma specialist, speaker, consultant, and founder of Wellness Evolved Counselling. With over 15 years of experience in mental health, addiction treatment, and trauma care, he has worked across residential and outpatient settings and served as the clinical director of a residential addiction treatment centre. Mike teaches on
addiction, emotional regulation, behaviour change, trauma, workplace well-being, leadership, and psychedelic integration.

He has trained healthcare teams, clinicians, first responders, industry groups, and workplace audiences including FortisBC, Telus Health, the BC construction sector, therapists, and psychedelic practitioners. Known for making complex ideas accessible and actionable, Mike blends clinical depth, practical tools, and engaging communication to help organizations build insight, resilience, and real change.
