RCC, BMT, YTT-250
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, substance use, cultural transitions, creative blocks, or existential uncertainty. Many are thoughtful and introspective but feel disconnected from themselves or others. Together, we focus on clarifying what matters, building emotional regulation skills, and creating sustainable change rooted in your values. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself beneath the noise, I’m here to guide the way.
Interdisciplinary Practitioner – Counsellor, Music Therapist, Yoga Teacher & Artist
About Me
I’m an interdisciplinary practitioner shaped by both formal training and lived experience. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Music Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and lifelong artist, my work sits at the intersection of psychology, creativity, and contemplative practice. I was born in Canada and am a second-generation Indo-Canadian, with ancestral roots in India through my parents and grandparents. Their stories, values, and resilience continue to inform how I understand identity, belonging, and healing.
My path into this work was not purely academic – it was personal. There was a time in my life when I felt lost in despair, questioning the value of existence and whether love, connection, and wholeness were truly attainable. Through exploring both contemporary psychotherapy and traditional wellness practices, I experienced firsthand how intentional inner work can shift something fundamental. That experience didn’t just help me survive – it changed the direction of my life.
Today, I see walking alongside someone in therapy as a sacred responsibility. It is an honour to witness another person’s self-exploration, healing, and growth. I don’t take that lightly.
My Approach
My work is informed by academic training, clinical practice within the healthcare system, community wellness spaces, and the wisdom passed down from elders, mentors, clients, and my own ancestry. I draw from evidence-based counselling approaches while integrating creative and embodied practices when appropriate.
As a Board-Certified Music Therapist, I’ve worked in addictions and mental health settings within the healthcare system, as well as in community-based environments – facilitating workshops, conferences, and wellness events that explore how music and sound can support emotional regulation, self-expression, and psychological growth. I’ve seen how creativity can access parts of us that language alone sometimes cannot.
At Wellness Evolved, my work remains grounded in accountability and growth. Therapy with me is collaborative and reflective. We work to understand patterns rather than judge them. We explore how pain has shaped you – and how it might also point toward what needs attention. I believe our ruptures can become teachers. When we tend to our wounds with care and clarity, we expand our capacity for joy, gratitude, and love.
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about learning how to rebuild trust with yourself, strengthen emotional awareness, and move forward with intention.
